In no particular order (and this is certainly not an exhaustive list…only a spur-of-the-moment one), here are 5 songs that remind me of summer, therefore enticing me to roll down my windows and sing at the top of my lungs (to the chagrin of my 4 year old son- and to the overjoyment of my 1 year old!):

musical mondays: 5.24.10

This is my first installment of “musical mondays”. Each Monday I will be entertaining you with some tidbits about my tastes and experiences in music. Lists, reviews, memories….We’ll see how it goes.

So, for today…

five songs that i  probably should be embarassed to love, but am not…

1. Paradise by the Dashboard Light- Meatloaf. I know every word and am not afraid to sing them all! Just ask my husband.
2. Toy Soldiers- Martika. Kids Incorporated rocked.
3. Oops, I Did It Again- Britney Spears. Honestly, I love Britney. I’ve seen her in concert. Recently. That is all.
4. Blame It on The Rain- Milli Vanilli. Or whoever really sang it.
5. Never Gonna Give You Up- Rick Astley. I mostly love his dancing. 🙂

As I made this list, I realized that there are about 20 more that could probably make it, so maybe we’ll have a part II in the future 🙂
