Hey, good morning!
This week has started off with a, well, flood. Not REALLY, but sort of. It’s been raining for 2 days straight here, after not many days of rain at all for a long time. So, we should be happy. And I am. BUT..
I have had to tie my tomato plants up because they are so heavy with water.
And…
I just bought a soaker hose for my garden. And set it out. And learned to run it. And then it started raining.
You are welcome. Our neighbors joke that we bring on the rain. Usually by washing cars, but probably buying a soaker hose would work, too.
Back to the weekend.
We went to a good friend’s graduation(s). It was fun to see all, but really, graduations are overrated if you are not the one graduationing. Long speeches. Lots of names called (not-a-one of them your own). Etc. Besides graduation, there was some late night action. I mean, I made it through three (yes, THREE) bars AND to late-night food. Sort of an accomplishment. Sort of a throw-back to my younger days. Sort of gross. I mean, hot dogs (yes, plural) and french fries at 2 a.m.? If that’s not sticking to your healthful diet, I am not sure what is.
Digression.
So, happy graduation weekend moved into happy my-mom visit weekend. We had fun. Not doing too much. Other than our requisite target trip at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. It’s a tradition. Really, it is. So is my mom buying me a treat. Because I am also only 4 years old. This time, a tshirt! Yay! Love moms.
This week is supposed to be my grand visit to my brother and sister-in-law’s in Charleston to help them with their new baby. There have been some things going on that are (so far) inhibiting that visit and I am very sad about that. (sad about the visit being stalled and the things that are going on). I am hoping that the visit will still happen! I need to snuggle me some tiny-baby!
Okay. Today we are going to a psuedo play-date (real quick like) then to Sam’s and maybe Kohl’s (I have a 30 percent off coupon and we need a new mat for the front porch!). So, high hopes for this day. I guess I don’t have to water my garden, so that gives me 20 extra minutes of life.
I will probably use them to read AMERICAN WIFE- almost done- soo good!
Oh- and my electronic challenge? I can’t find my cable to connect my camera to my computer. So…
NO PICS FOR YOU!
